What exactly comes with the ThroPot?
The standard system includes one 5.5-quart reusable base pot, one lid, and two heavy-duty aluminum cooking liners.
Do I cook directly in the black base pot?
No. Food cooks inside the removable liner, which sits inside the reusable base pot.
Does the base pot ever need cleaning?
The core benefit is eliminating soaking and scrubbing of the reusable base pot after normal intended use. Any spills on the base still need cleaning, and the lid, utensils, dishes and other kitchen items still need normal care.
Which stovetops are compatible?
ThroPot is designed for compatible gas and electric stovetops. Compatibility with induction, ovens, broilers, grills, campfires or other heat sources has not been confirmed.
Are the liners recyclable?
The liners are aluminum, but local recycling acceptance and preparation requirements vary. Check with your local recycling program.
How much is the starter kit?
